Terms and Conditions
Last updated: January 1, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of TaxTrack 1099 (the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by Frank Chandler ("we", "us", "our"), the seller you are contracting with. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Tax disclaimer
This application provides estimated tax calculations for planning purposes only. It does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. Users should consult a qualified tax professional for their individual situation.
Estimates are generated from tax rules stored in the Service and from information you enter. Tax law changes frequently and individual circumstances vary. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy of your filings and for making any required payments on time.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Plans, purchases and subscriptions
The Service offers a one-time purchase that unlocks the full calculator, expense tracking and reports, and a monthly subscription that adds automatic tax rule updates, unlimited tracking, multiple income sources, cloud backup and advanced reports. An account is required to use the calculator.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax collection and invoicing are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing area of your account; access continues until the end of the current billing period. One-time purchases are non-recurring and do not include subscription-only features. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access other users' data, probing or testing the security of the Service, reverse engineering it, reselling access, or uploading unlawful or malicious content.
6. Your data
You retain ownership of the income, expense and profile information you enter. You grant us the limited right to store and process that information in order to operate the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
6a. Intellectual property
We own all rights in the Service itself, including the software, design, text, graphics, logos, branding and documentation. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active; they do not transfer any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
7. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the Service. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features. Tax rule data may be updated at any time as rates and thresholds change.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any penalties, interest or additional tax assessed against you. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to the support address listed inside your account.
